Upcoming BAFTA Event: Filmmakers’ Guide to the Digital Distribution Galaxy

On 9 May, Power to the Pixel Director Liz Rosenthal will present the “Filmmakers’ Guide to the Digital Distribution Galaxy” at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.  Through a series of case studies and online examples, Liz will illustrate how filmmakers are using the Web to reach global audiences and build loyal fan bases that can support future projects.  By employing digital tools to market, distribute and finance their films in creative new ways, filmmakers have uncovered innovative distribution alternatives to the traditional, theatrically-led model.  At this session, you will learn how these new models work and get an up-to-the-minute report from the digital frontier.
