DARIUS DEVAS Director & Producer, Being Films (AU)
Darius’ interactive documentary series Goa Hippy Tribe (2011), won the 2012 SXSW Interactive Award for Film & TV and was selected for IDFA 2011. He also recently released his experimental documentary short Within (narrated by Guy Pearce) at the National Gallery of Victoria, as part of ‘Melbourne Now’. In 2012, his interactive documentary series This City Speaks received development funding from Screen Australia. In 2009, Darius directed his first feature film, Further We Search (2009). Success with his travel film One Revolution (2006), gained him work as a content producer with Lonely Planet TV, working on their online TV channel.
ADAM FARRINGTON-WILLIAMS Producer, Perseus Pictures (AU)
Adam is an independent producer from Melbourne, Australia. His multi-platform documentary, The Afghan Connection, helmed and co-produced by director Darius Devas, received Screen Australia development funding in 2014. Adam is also producing Rohan Spong’s feature documentary Winter at Westbeth, which received development and production funding from Film Victoria and Screen Australia. The film is currently in post-production.
Adam also served as producer on Rohan Spong’s T is for Teacher (2009) and co-producer on his most recent film All The Way Through Evening (2011). Adam was mentored by producers Lizzette Atkins and Beth Frey at Circe Films.
