From 1998 to 2003, Carlo Cresto-Dina founded and directed the documentary and short film sector of the production house Fandango. From his city of residence, London, he produced films by Emir Kusturica, Fernando Trueba, along with many feature-length documentaries by young authors that have been both presented and awarded at major festivals in Europe. He created and produced the film Tickets directed by Abbas Kiarostami, Ken Loach and Ermanno Olmi. He created and directed the series Real Cinema and Clouds published by Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Publisher. He founded tempesta in 2009.
