DEEP Inc. in collaboration with Freedom 360 worked with the Canadian Space Agency’s Stratospheric Balloon Programme to document the launch of one of the largest balloons ascending into near space. The balloon measured 300 meters across. The system had to withstand temperatures ranging from -80 to +50 degree Celsius during the flight. DEEP and Freedom 360 equipped the mission with two 360 degree camera rigs that captured the 50 km ascent into the stratosphere to create stunning 360 video shots of the earth.
