I was born on May 2nd 1984 in Dubrovnik, Croatia. I have an MA degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Zagreb, but I have always been working in the fields of media and culture. I have been writing for Booksa.hr (major literary website in the Balkans) and Teatar.hr (esteemed Croatian theatre website). Cees Nooteboom and Etgar Keret are amongst some of the prominent writers I interviewed. I hosted a series of public talks regarding the adaptation of literary works into movies called Književnost na platnu (Literature on the Big Screen), held in Zagreb’s literary club Booksa. I have taken part in two European cultural journalism residencies: Unpack the Arts (new circus and physical theatre, Denmark) and NRW Kultursekretariat residency at Ruhr Triennale 2012 (theatre and art in public space, Germany).
I participated in the 2011 Sarajevo Talent Campus as a screenwriter and also received a special award for my screenplay at 2007 Zagreb Film Festival.
I collaborated with Irena Krčelić, a Pixel Lab alumnus, on her project My Grandpa is an Alien and a project of an augmented reality book. I collaborated with SKROZ performance collective on developing @BetaSkroz, probably the first ever performing arts project in which live action and the interaction on social networks & applications are treated as equally valid performance strategies.
Currently I work as a full-time digital copywriter and community and content manager at a digital agency Brlog, part of Bruketa&Žinić OM, an advertising agency that has been ranked second most efficient independent agency globally before respectable worldwide agencies such as Wieden+Kennedy i Jung von Matt. In Brlog I worked on developing cool applications, such as Soundlog – http://www.soundlog.net/
