Mick Greenwood is the Content Acquisition and Product Manager for MSN Video Player in the UK. He is responsible for working with partners to bring in short-form and long-form content that will work with MSN’s wide-ranging portal audience, across all the MSN editorial channels.
MSN launched its short-form video proposition in 2006 and went on to beta launch a long-form player in August 2009. Commercial launch came in March 2010 with a catalogue of 1000+ hours of TV from the likes of BBC Worldwide, All3 Media and Endemol. MSN also has a PACT Terms of Trade deal in place for deal in place for dealing with smaller independent producers.
