Beth Janson joined Tribeca Film Institute in 2004 to launch its Tribeca All Access program, which quickly grew to become an important forum for US-based filmmakers from diverse backgrounds to promote their projects. She held a variety of positions prior to TFI including Programming Director for the 2003 Newport International Film Festival and working as a part of the HBO Documentary Films/Cinemax Reel Life programming team. At HBO, she worked on American Standoff, The Young and the Dead, Journeys with George and Shelter Dogs. She was associate producer for Cinemax Reel Life on Broken Silence, produced by Steven Spielberg.
